| Zorica of Malibu | |
| We had scheduled a lunch at Marmalades because of a minor
tragedy...I was out of her cream and she needed a few more words of wisdom
written about her new Zorica of Malibu Cosmetic Line. I was early and eagerly
anticipated the arrival of her nourishing, revitalizing, vitamin-packed,
face saving formula that I really had to have. I was addicted. Then in she walked. A wisp of a woman in a brilliant Pucci-print dress and skin you could die for. Over iced tea, Gazpacho and a Greek salad , we discussed her philosophy. "Woman is a genius when she is dreaming". She was working very hard to make her dream come true... to create a reconstructive, anti-aging skin care product that had all the perfect ingredients in one jar. Something simple and cost affective that really did what it said it would do...Moisturize. nourish, rejuvenate and smooth out the wrinkles. I love to hear her talk. She has a great accent because she's originally from Yugoslavia, "You know, where everyone has beautiful skin". But I was antsy. (Where was my cream?). She told me how she had combined vitamins A,C and E and "Did you know they are now saying vitamin C is truly wonderful for the skin both inside and out plus it is a natural sunscreen." She added Collagen and Elastin to hold the moisture and firm and tighten the skin. She carefully chose seaweed because of its rejuvenating power. It moisturizes, hydrates and renews face tissue while dramatically reducing the wrinkles and smile lines ever so gently and naturally. I know, I know, hadn't I written that? You see I was one of people who would cruise the cosmetics counters looking for the one cream, the one break-through product that would make me beautiful. From LeMer to Lancome, I've tried them all. Always hoping that this...this would be it? And then, one day, out of the blue she called and asked if I would write something for her and, if I would like. I could sample her cream. (Always the perfect lady and so well mannered, never forcing anything on anyone.) I said, "okay". This is how I became addicted to Zorica of Malibu. It honestly worked. Finally, the moment had arrived. She handed me my cream and I was in ecstasy. I can recommend it only if you want to discover the true meaning of beauty and have the radiant skin you have always dreamed of. |
